The head of government has been held by numerous positions in the historical Kodiak Republic, but for most of its history, including presently, it has been held by a parliamentary-led Chancellor or Prime Minister. This list is in reverse chronological order for ease of viewing.

The sixth republic deconstructed the existing bicameral parliament and empowered an executive President.

Reformed Fifth Republic
The reformed republic was a bicameral parliament with an executive Chancellor selected from the Senate. The senators were elevated by the General Assembly out of their own.. The President was declared ceremonial and emplaced as presiding officer of the Senate.

Second Kodiak Republic
Second Constitution
The first revision to the constitution recreated the position of Prime Minister. The President was relegated to a mostly ceremonial position, except for concentration on powers of foreign affairs and defence throughout the final years of the Kodiak Revolution. The Chancellor position in the Assembly was renamed "Premier".
