The 645 General Election was held on 22 August 2022, with campaigning beginning on 15 August 2022. Incumbent Chancellor Patrick Barber (KWP) was the only candidates for Assembly President. President Tobias Virstürm did not seek re-election. Two candidates declared for the position of Chancellor. Oskar Luchens of the National Unity Party (NUP) and Klaus Miklaelson of the Kodiak Workers' Party (KWP). Chief Justice Martang Eðeltreow lodged his intention to remain early in the campaign season.

Notable in this election, civil unrest sponsored by the hostile Government of the Great North occured in much of the Darrent as well as within the City of Graz. While Local police had for the most party been able to uphold order in the Graz, regions within the Darrent have been temporarily lost to hostile forces.

The election ran for three days and was certified by the Public Service.
