The 663 General Election was held on 08 January 2024, with campaigning beginning on 25 December 2023. Incumbent Chancellor Magnus Ward (NUP) was term limited and unable to run. Dr Edmund Maltravers of the NUP and Joanna Sousa of the KWP declared for Chancellor. Braughn Kyros of the KWP declared as candidate for President. Chief Justice Ethward Staples missed the deadline to lodge his intention to remain, being ill, but the Assembly provided a special dispensation in light of that fact.

The previous government was run by the National Unity Party after a landslide victory in 660 as a result of major economic success. The 660-662 term of government was considerably more quiet than the previous and it was not a guarantee the NUP would retain government.

The election ran for three days and was certified by the Public Service.
