Tobias Virstürm

Heir to the Virstürm family estate.

Leader of the Progress Party of Kodiak

Tobias, born in 604, is the primary heir to the Virstürm family dynasty. He was born into a wealthy family residing in the region of Vikstein which was formerly a Bromannikha vassal. His parents, Heirst and Ingrid Virstürm, are currently some of the largest landowners in Kodiak. In 622, Tobias attended school at the Ryykburg Academy, a private university, and received a degree in Political Science. It was here that Tobias had found an appreciation for law and attended Ryykburg Law School in 626. He was made an editor for the school's law review during his attendance.

Tobias started off his legal career working for Howard & Finch P.C. a law practice outside of the capital. He mostly dealt with corporate litigation, but also found himself working for his family with dealing with disputes over land possession and imminent domain. Tobias would eventually leave his firm to go pursue a goal in politics.

In 632 he found himself working closely with the now defunct DLPK while working as an attorney. He would leave this role and in 634 would work as internal counsel for the Kodiak Growth Initiative, a non-profit organization focused on technological and infrastructural growth within Kodiak. It was here that Tobias would find a great appreciation for education and technological progressiveness.

In 636 Tobias was elected to the General Assembly. Tobias was appointed the Minister of Healthcare and Education under Alexander Mondo in which he passed key legislation focusing on the educational standards of Kodiak. In 639, Tobias formed the PPK, which was funded in majority by his family, in order to support an independent campaign for President of the General Assembly in the 639 General Election. Tobias would win against his opponent and would run for a consecutive term winning again in the 642 General Election.
