An act to regulate and control the national borders.
Enacted during the Great Interregnum

Article 1 - Kodiak Border Patrol

1.1 - Establishes the Kodiak Border Patrol, headquartered in the Capital city of Rykkburgh.
1.2 - All travellers into and out of the Kodiak Republic must present an officiated and legitimate domestic or foreign passport for endorsement to cross the border.
1.3 - All travellers into the Kodiak Republic must apply for and be granted a visa prior to presenting to the Kodiak Border Patrol.
1.4 - The Kodiak Border Patrol shall be quarterly funded with ₣42,000,000.

Article 2 - Immigration Control

2.1 - Prospective foreign residents to Kodiak must apply to the Directorate of Immigration for a residence visa.
2.2 - Permanent Resident visas will require the applicant to, at the time of filing:
2.2.1 - Speak a national language of Kodiak.
2.2.2 - Hold a least a bachelor's degree from one of the Immigration Directorate's approved domestic or international institutions
2.2.3 - Hold a work offer from an approved list of Kodiak employers.
2.2.4 - Pass a background criminal, character, and integrity check.
2.2.5 - Consent to a medical investigation against a list of unapproved adverse medical conditions.
2.2.6 - Be under the age of 36; or be legally married to a Kodiak citizen and under the age of 50; or be a biological parent to a Kodiak citizen.

Article 3 - Refugees

3.1 - The Kodiak Refugee Resettlement Program shall be established in the capital city of Rykkburgh.
3.2 - Refugees will undergo an exhaustive background investigation from within immigration detention.
3.3 - Refugees will only be accepted by the Kodiak Republic if they can demonstrate
3.3.1 - They are fleeing from a direct and ongoing conflict area, as defined by the Directorate.
3.3.2 - They are not indirectly or directly related to the belligerents of the conflict.
3.3.3 - They swear a desire to return to their country of origin if the conflict subsides within 10 years of the filing of their application.
3.4 - The Refugee Resettlement Program shall be quarterly funded with ₣47,500,000.
