@Assembly Member, debate for this bill is now open. ((I can't necessarily comment IC, but... where is the "occupational health" part of this bill? This feels like just "Food Safety Administration".)) Reifyrm Visdvk [I] — 02/06/2024 6:17 PM ((It comes from 1.4.2, it is vague as it was based off of one of the ministry Policy Reviews on the Wiki which is intself vague, it is barebones but funds it) Braughn F. G. Kryos OP

— 02/06/2024 6:18 PM

((I would suggest removing the parts of the name that the bill does not cover. Ie, "Food Safety Administration" or whatever)) ((And, as far as my understanding, said administration should be established under a particular ministry, specifically, the Ministry of Health)) Reifyrm Visdvk [I] — 02/06/2024 6:20 PM ((The bill is intended to cover all of it, the food part was written as the lesser important matter when I first wrote this)) Braughn F. G. Kryos OP

— 02/06/2024 6:21 PM

((Is 1.5 the only mention of "Occupational Health"?)) Reifyrm Visdvk [I] — 02/06/2024 6:23 PM ((1.4.2*, but yes, as there is not much to go on without devoting more time than I have on hand to be more percise. This bill was written based within limittations of the provided policy reviews the wiki itself has and was intended to stay within those limitations very plainly)) Braughn F. G. Kryos OP

— 02/06/2024 6:24 PM

((Fair enough. I wont say that it's wrong, though you might find it hard to push through the assembly without some level of specificity.)) Braughn F. G. Kryos OP

I will bring the attention of the @Assembly Members to this bill as no substansive discussion has occured. The Republic of Arcasis (DPPK) — 02/11/2024 6:50 AM Hmm... Interesting bill I must say While some would call it "a waste of money" and "unecesary bureacracy" I would support it... if we weren't in an ongoing crisis Right now we must save as many funds as possible for reconstruction and the military If we sign bills that consume funds left and right we will have to go into crippling amounts of debt The Republic of Arcasis (DPPK) — 02/11/2024 6:58 AM And I know that this bill may not consume that many funds but every million counts Reifyrm Visdvk [I] — 02/11/2024 11:54 AM A bill like this could have prevented the very strikes that led to this crisis The Republic of Arcasis (DPPK) — 02/11/2024 12:19 PM Well at least for now there's no point in it The strikes have happened Reifyrm Visdvk [I] — 02/11/2024 12:20 PM And we should just not learn and improve from them? That would only prove the strikers correct The Republic of Arcasis (DPPK) — 02/11/2024 12:20 PM Until we take back back the south it should be put on hold And may it be clear I wholeheartedly suport this bill Reifyrm Visdvk [I] — 02/11/2024 12:22 PM Establishing it now, and not later, will make it able to take effect sooner, having it already be partially set up before we must undergo any reconstruction in striking insurrectionist lands can only be a good thing Not to mention the possible prevention of more strikes being started The Republic of Arcasis (DPPK) — 02/11/2024 12:25 PM Very well I concede You have made some very good points And thus convinced me Joanna Sousa KWP (Juliette) — 02/12/2024 4:15 AM Agreed there's no reason why the rest of Kodiak needs to be at a stand still, we have many problems to tackle and the difference is in priority.

I think we should have stronger language in clause 1.2

Original: 1.2 - The FOHSA shall be charged with ensuring compulsory nutrition information labels are placed on ingestible products.

Suggestion: 1.2 - Accurate nutrition information labels are required to be placed on all ingestible products for sale in Kodiak that are produced or manufactured in Kodiak, or imported. FOHSA shall be charged with ensuring compliance. Josef Kovac — 02/12/2024 4:16 AM I think it would be prudent to separate the F and the OHS into separate articles. Right now this is the Food Administration with Occupational Safety Attached. Joanna Sousa KWP (Juliette) — 02/12/2024 4:16 AM That's a fair point! Reifyrm Visdvk [I] — 02/12/2024 6:40 PM That is simply because our occupational safety standards are rather poor as of now, allowing the FOSHA to make them independently of the assembly and according to worker needs rather than requiring a full legislative process, will allow for faster reaction to changing technologies and revelations Reifyrm Visdvk [I] — 02/12/2024 6:41 PM that can be amended into the bill, thank you for that Jack Williams (DPPK) — 02/13/2024 5:50 PM Are we amending or shall we move to vote now Edmund Marwood [NUP] — 02/13/2024 5:51 PM @Reifyrm Visdvk [I] Reifyrm Visdvk [I] — 02/13/2024 5:52 PM I am adding the suggestion that was given, but besides that i do not believe there will be more discussion on the bill Edmund Marwood [NUP] — 02/13/2024 5:53 PM Cool. Once you confirm the amendment as you prefer, let us know and I'll motion to vote Reifyrm Visdvk [I] — 02/13/2024 5:54 PM It is ready. Edmund Marwood [NUP] — 02/13/2024 5:55 PM Greqru Fj Whoops dropped my phone I motion for a vote @Braughn F. G. Kryos Braughn F. G. Kryos OP

— 02/13/2024 5:56 PM

I shall put this to vote when another member seconds this motion. Jack Williams (DPPK) — 02/13/2024 5:58 PM I second the motion Braughn F. G. Kryos OP

— 02/13/2024 5:58 PM

The vote shall then occur immediately. EasyPoll BOT
