Tobias Virstürm (Vikstein) — 07/25/2022 Hello members of the General Assembly. In the effort to more streamline our government procedures, I have taken the old policy discussion and reformed it to fit the standards of our current Kodiak Republic. While I feel it covers what it should I would be happy to discuss any criticisms.

This is also the time for me to announce that I will not be continuing as President for an additional term for the election on August 22, 2022. I believe these procedures will assist in whoever may take my place.

Perhaps I will take the mantle again, but I believe it is time for me to focus on creating new resolutions in order to represent my party and its beliefs to the forefront of Kodiak policy. Kodiak has changed immensely in the last year I have been present, and I am happy to have served it in my capacity the last few months. (edited)

Hester Sirocco-Loren (Juliette) — 07/25/2022 Thank you for adjusting the old act to be relevant to how we do things now (via Discord). I'll take a look properly asap.

I will say that when this act was originally written (we were still using a forum!), the spirit of the act was not to restrict but to ensure that every term for the General Assembly was handled consistently so that we may, as representatives, continue to maintain our standards. So - I do support the need for the Assembly to have a codified standing rules and procedures, and I believe this act retains that intention. (edited) July 27, 2022

Oskar Luchens (NUP) — 07/27/2022 Section 3.7.2.1: Is the Bolded, "Policy Discussion" also supposed to be a link to a page on the wiki?

Section 3.2.2.1: Is very closely saying the same item as 3.4 and its sub sections.

Section 2.1.1: Dont suppose we can underline and bold that statement

Section 1.2: I think we should link to the Code of Conduct on the wiki with this bill.

Overall the Resolution is a clear codification of common practices of the Assembly and definitely provides written guidelines for us to now reference to players that are out of order. I intend to support this measure. (edited)

No, unfortunately making the text bold was the only way to identify the specific section to move the resolution too.
