@Assembly Member Discussion is now opened. Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:35 Point 2.3 has too few things Maybe we should expand those a bit Braughn F. G. Kryos — 20/04/2023 23:36 Any specific suggestions? Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:37 I mean, point 8, agricultural skills, isn't good enough. Maybe that point should be expanded to all agriculture in general And to the rest, we should add... shit what was the name... stonemasons and the skills to be one We could also put the building skills, as builders and architects are one of the things we need the most @Braughn F. G. Kryos For the rest of the points, I agree with those But the last one 500.000.000 DZG$ for it Are you wild? I would go for 550.000.000 Isabella Esposito (KWP) — 20/04/2023 23:41 Attack the idea, not the person Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:42 I am independent, ain't my fault Braughn F. G. Kryos — 20/04/2023 23:42 nods Keep in mind, I'm not the author, just encouraging specific critique.

2.3, the clause "more may be added to it by the Ministry of Education but nothing may be removed or modified unless it is by the General Assembly." should be removed. Not only is the sentence before missing a period, but this is assumed to be the case. Unless there is another body/office that can modify laws, it's already the case that only the Assembly can add or remove sections from this list. In addition, I would argue it shouldn't take a literal act of the Assembly to add or subtract from the list of technical skills, but some office more equipped to do so, such as the Ministry of Labour and Commerce. Braughn F. G. Kryos — 20/04/2023 23:43 That's not what that means. Being independent doesn't mean you can attack the person. Critique the resolution, not the proposer of the resolution. Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:43 I agree with that, maybe point 2.3 isn't good enough Isabella Esposito (KWP) — 20/04/2023 23:43 I was going to say that lol Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:43 But what should we add? What should we modify of it? Or are we completely gonna delete it? Isabella Esposito (KWP) — 20/04/2023 23:44 You don't modify or delete clauses– the author does Who has left the community Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:44 Excuse me?! Did he?! Isabella Esposito (KWP) — 20/04/2023 23:44 @Klaus Mikaelson Mr. President, how are we to proceed in this situation? Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:44 Gosh, I'm so outdated... Braughn F. G. Kryos — 20/04/2023 23:45 Specifically, who is acting author in this instance? von Zeppelin [CKA] — 20/04/2023 23:45 2.6 has a small loophole: bad students cannot be expelled from it. We need to add an exception. Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:46 Good grief... I just realized it. W Magnus Ward (NUP) — 20/04/2023 23:46 the first question that needs to be decided is how the bill will be presented if the author is not with us. because all our concerns are moot if no one can accept them or implement them Isabella Esposito (KWP) — 20/04/2023 23:47 (I just said that barely one minute ago Braughn F. G. Kryos — 20/04/2023 23:47 I have critiques, but I'll wait for the President to make a ruling. Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:47 I think we got the hardest bill to ever discuss, monsieur @W Magnus Ward (NUP) W Magnus Ward (NUP) — 20/04/2023 23:48 Yes, i was repeating it because I'm not sure debating further is helpful if in the end the bill is just shelved Aaron Beester (UKN) — 20/04/2023 23:49 So should what dow e do about the bill? Louis von Hengstler [NUP] — 20/04/2023 23:49 Kill the bill? Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:49 I don't think we could go any further with this bill, because if we do continue, all we'll do is chaos Isabella Esposito (KWP) — 20/04/2023 23:49 Kill Bill is nice but not in this case Aaron Beester (UKN) — 20/04/2023 23:49 Remove the author status to someone else? Joshua Lopez - Slatium — 20/04/2023 23:49 Doesn't anyone want to sponsor the bill? Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:49 I vote for shelving it until the creator of the bill can come back At least for now Louis von Hengstler [NUP] — 20/04/2023 23:49 I'll sponsor it. Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:49 That's what I have in mind Joshua Lopez - Slatium — 20/04/2023 23:50 There, sorted Aaron Beester (UKN) — 20/04/2023 23:50 I dont think he will come back Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:50 ... Isabella Esposito (KWP) — 20/04/2023 23:50 English, please Oh and language, please Aaron Beester (UKN) — 20/04/2023 23:51 I recommend removing the author status to someone else Or just removing this bill to warp to another Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:51 to himself "This bill is gonna be a brain breaker, it has a lot of problems..." Isabella Esposito (KWP) — 20/04/2023 23:51 This bill has just been sponsored so W Magnus Ward (NUP) — 20/04/2023 23:51 Just wait for the @Assembly President We have a guy whose job it is to make these decisions. It will all be ok, I promise Louis von Hengstler [NUP] — 20/04/2023 23:52 Too late, panic mode initiated. XD Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:52 Do we know anything about the next bill? Isabella Esposito (KWP) — 20/04/2023 23:52 Dude chill We have queues for a reason W Magnus Ward (NUP) — 20/04/2023 23:53 the docket is published freely on the wiki Richard Havtjer / D&P — 20/04/2023 23:53 Alright, thanks for telling Aaron Beester (UKN) — 20/04/2023 23:53 I think you can read it in the wiki W Magnus Ward (NUP) — 20/04/2023 23:54 https://kodiak.wiki/wiki/Proposed_Laws Braughn F. G. Kryos — 21/04/2023 00:02 If no one else would like to sponsor the bill, I am willing to do so. I think this bill is beneficial to the public, with some alterations. Should the president deem that necessary, of course Louis von Hengstler [NUP] — 21/04/2023 00:02 I've already offered. Braughn F. G. Kryos — 21/04/2023 00:03 If you'd like a co-author, consider me ready and willing. Louis von Hengstler [NUP] — 21/04/2023 00:03 Yeah sure. I don't mind tbh. The more the merrier. 😝 Braughn F. G. Kryos — 21/04/2023 00:04 Many hands make light work W Magnus Ward (NUP) — 21/04/2023 00:05 I'm unsure where the President has gone as he was quite literally just here Atlasi Herman — 21/04/2023 00:06 Time to stick my finger in here Louis von Hengstler [NUP] — 21/04/2023 00:06 Have you tried in-between the couch cushions? 🤪 Braughn F. G. Kryos — 21/04/2023 00:07 Perhaps he fell down a mineshaft while trying to encourage the children to work harder This is a JOKE. See Youth Employment Act 653 W Magnus Ward (NUP) — 21/04/2023 00:12 My suggestion we wait for a ruling was somewhat based on the idea that the President, being present, would be around to confirm said ruling. But since its been half an hour without any input, I think while people are here and participating, we should debate the article with the presumption that Mr. von Hengstler is the Author (as first requested) while also understanding that Mr Kyros may be emplaced as co-author whenever the President does come around to make a decision Braughn F. G. Kryos — 21/04/2023 00:16 In that case, my issue with 2.3 stands. Moving on

2.6: Wow, what a loophole. Mr. von Zeppelin is right. I would strongly suggest that this be modified to "Students may not be expelled from the Star Path State Technical Colleges program except in cases of academic failure or misconduct." W Magnus Ward (NUP) — 21/04/2023 00:23 (OOC: I just want to note that this bill is clearly a 'fleshing out' of the existing Tech Schools legislation which also costs 500 million per quarter. That is to say, its not 'changing' anything in the simulation but instead building out the concept more fully. I would encourage members to engage recognising that this is not a fundamental change to the existing structure of alternative higher education) Klaus Mikaelson

I had listed myself as the sponsor of the bill so that discussion can be had, and I can make any amendments that are decided on by the assembly. I did however leave the original Author in the proposal while bringing this into the Docket, however as the original author has left the region, but if someone or someone's want to take over as the author, that is perfectly fine. Klaus Mikaelson OP

— 21/04/2023 02:29

If @von Zeppelin [CKA] and @Braughn F. G. Kryos are in agreement with the above suggestion from Mr. Ward, I can amend the proposal to reflect that. Braughn F. G. Kryos — 21/04/2023 02:30 I believe it was @Louis von Hengstler [NUP] who was interested in being author. Louis von Hengstler [NUP] — 21/04/2023 02:31 It was indeed. Klaus Mikaelson OP

— 21/04/2023 03:59

Apologies, I tagged the wrong name Louis von Hengstler [NUP] — 21/04/2023 03:59 That's alright. Klaus Mikaelson OP

— 21/04/2023 22:34

other discussion? von Zeppelin [CKA] — 21/04/2023 22:44 None. Braughn F. G. Kryos — 21/04/2023 23:21 I think neither Mr. von Hengstler nor I have had the opportunity to review this bill appropriately. Klaus Mikaelson OP

— 22/04/2023 01:43

it just came forward, so that's completely fine! Louis von Hengstler [NUP] — 22/04/2023 01:48 A question regarding 2.7. Where will this money come from? Also, 2.6.1 doesn't, imo, make itself clear on how much one will have to pay after a certain time. Klaus Mikaelson OP

— 24/04/2023 05:38

Was that directed to anyone particular? Louis von Hengstler [NUP] — 24/04/2023 05:38 Anyone tbh. Klaus Mikaelson OP

— 24/04/2023 22:21

you're the author, you would be the person to answer that question. 😛 Louis von Hengstler [NUP] — 24/04/2023 22:22 Oh damn. Yeah, I forgot. XD. Braughn F. G. Kryos — 25/04/2023 23:20 The bill has been edited with updated information. We would like to welcome additional questions and criticism at this time. Braughn F. G. Kryos — 27/04/2023 21:45 If there is none, I move this bill be sent to vote. Charlotte Groves (Juliette)[KWP] — 27/04/2023 22:31 There seems to be no more and in that case I second the motion. Although I feel like the original author should also be credited (this shouldn't hold up debate ;) ) though they are no longer with us. Klaus Mikaelson OP

I will open a vote later tonight, I’m not available to do so before that time Klaus Mikaelson OP

— 28/04/2023 10:58

Actually it’s going to be tomorrow W Magnus Ward (NUP) — 28/04/2023 10:59 is the slash command not working? Klaus Mikaelson OP

— 28/04/2023 11:00

I’ve honestly never tried to do it on mobile and worry I’ll mess it up with autocorrect lol W Magnus Ward (NUP) — 28/04/2023 11:01 had me worried for a moment. makes sense Klaus Mikaelson OP

— 28/04/2023 11:04

I’m just not able to access a laptop tonight, but will have a poll started as soon as I get to work in the morning EasyPoll BOT
