It was led by [[List of chancellors of the Kodiak Republic|Chancellor]] [[User:Edmund Cosmo Maltravers|Edmund Maltravers]] and Deputy Chancellor [[User:AntilleanMan|Bill Simmons]] of [[the National Unity Party]].
It was installed following the [[663 Kodiak General Election]] and succeeded the [[Second Ward Cabinet]]. Maltravers was elected as Chancellor by the General Assembly on 18 January
The cabinet struggled to maintain order in the face of the [[the Kodiak Commune|communist rebellion]] in 664 and continuing throughout the rest of the term. Minister for Social Services [[user:searls|Sergei Urisko]] went missing suddenly in September 664. A number of non-specific threats against the government were found in his possession, but all appeared to be delivered to him and not written by him. He remains at large. He was replaced by [[user:BenMarkerson|Alexander Paramount]]. Industry Minister Edmund Marwood was assassinated by communist rebels at a campaign event in [[Graz]] in July 665. He was not replaced before the election.
