Resolution to Establish the Meritorious Awards of Kodiak

A resolution to establish the meritorious awards of the Serene Republic of Kodiak.
Article One: the Guelderlaand Award
- 1.1 The Guelderlaand Award will be established as the highest civilian and military award of the Republic.
- 1.2 The Guelderlaand Award shall be divided into three classes:
- 1.2.1 Guelderlaand Award, First Class shall be granted for an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the Kodiak Republic, world peace, cultural or other significant public endeavours.
- 1.2.2 Guelderlaand Award, Second Class shall be granted for exemplary deeds or services for his or her country or fellow citizens.
- 1.2.3 Guelderlaand Award, Third Class shal be granted for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Republic.
- 1.3 The Guelderlaand Award shall be granted via Resolution of the General Assembly of Kodiak
Aritcle Two: the Order of the Golden Phoenix
- 2.1 The Order of the Golden Phoenix shall be established as the highest military award of the Republic, excepting the Guelderlaand Award. Recipients of the Order of the Golden Phoenix must be commissioned, non-commissioned, or enlisted members of the armed forces of the Republic of Kodiak.
- 2.2 The Order of the Golden Phoenix shall be divided into three classes:
- 2.2.1 The Order of the Golden Phoenix, First Class shall be granted for exemplary military service to the Republic of Kodiak, above and beyond the call of duty, with the risk of great bodily harm or personal sacrifice.
- 2.2.2 The Order of te Golden Phoenix, Second Class shall be granted for significant military service to the Republic of Kodiak, above the call of duty, with great personal sacrifice and bravery in the face of overwhelming odds.
- 2.2.3 The Order of the Golden Phoenix, Third Class shall be granted for outstanding military service to the Republic of Kodiak, above the call of duty.
- 2.3 The Order of the Golden Phoenix shall grant the recipient a lifetime stipend of 35,000 florins annually.
- 2.4 The Order of the Golden Phoenix shall be granted via Resolution of the General Assembly of Kodiak.
Article Three: the Emerald Heart
- 3.1 The Emerald Heart shall be established as a military award of the Republic which shall be granted to commissioned, non-comissioned, or enlisted members of the armed forces of the Republic who have been wounded during engagement with the enemies of the Republic of Kodiak during a time of war.
- 3.2 The Emerald Heart shall grant the recipient a lifetime stipend of 30,000 florins annually. The Emerald Heart will grant the recipient permanent healthcare coverage.
- 3.3 The Emerald Heart shall be granted to any eligible recipients by the Ministry of Defence.
Article Four: Branch-Specific Awards
- 4.1 The Kodiaker Army will establish the Army Cross. The Army Cross will be granted to members of the Kodiaker Army that display exemplary service and gallantry to the Republic of Kodiak in the execution of the mission of the Kodiaker Army.
- 4.2 The Kodiaker Air Force will establish the Flying Cross. The Flying Cross will be granted to members of the Kodiaker Air Force that display exemplary serivce and gallandry to the Republic of Kodiak in the execution of the mission of the Kodiaker Air Force.
- 4.3 The Kodiaker Navy will establish the Navy Cross. The Navy Cross will be granted to members of the Kodiaker Navy that display exemplary serivce and gallandry to the Republic of Kodiak in the execution of the mission of the Kodiaker Navy.
- 4.4 The Kodiaker Coast Guard will establish the Coast Guard Cross. The Coast Guard Corss will be granted to members of the Kodiaker Coast Guard that display exemplary serivce and gallandry to the Republic of Kodiak in the execution of the mission of the Kodiaker Coast Guard.
- 4.5 The commanding officer of each of these branches or the Minister of Defence may award these medals. Each of these medals shall grant the recipient a lifetime stipend of 15,000 florins annually.
- 4.6 The Ministry of Defence may authorize other branch- and service-specific medals and awards as it sees fit.
Article Five: Defense Service Medal
- 5.1 The Defense Service Medal will be granted to any person, military or civilian, that significantly contributes to the military defense of the Republic of Kodiak and exemplifies gallantry in the face of danger and defiance of the enemies of the Republic.
- 5.2 The Defense Service Medal shall be granted by the Minister of Defence.
- 5.3 The Defense Service Medal shall grant the recipient a lifetime stipend of 10,000 florins annually.
Article Six: Civilian Medals of the Republic
- 6.1 The Office of the Chancellor of the Republic of Kodiak shall establish the Chancellor's Medal of the Republic. The Chancellor's Medal of the Republic shall be granted to citizens of the Republic of Kodiak that display dedication and outstanding service to the Republic of Kodiak, in pursuance of the ideals of the Republic.
- 6.2 The Office of the President of the General Assembly of the Republic of Kodiak shall establish the Presidential Medal of the Republic. The Presidential Medal of the Republic shall be granted to citizens of the Republic of Kodiak that display dedication and outstanding service to the Republic of Kodiak, in pursuance of the ideals of the Republic.
- 6.3 These medals shall grant the recipient a gift of appreciation amounting to no more than fifty thousand florins.
Aritcle Seven: Friend of the Kodiak Republic Medal
- 7.1 The Friend of the Kodiak Republic Medal shall be granted for an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the Kodiak Republic, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavours by a foreign national.
- 7.2 The Friend of the Kodiak Republic Medal shall be granted Via Resolution of the General Assembly of Kodiak.
Article Eight: Foreign Service Medal
- 8.1 The Foreign Service Medal shall be granted to any member of the Kodiaker Foreign Service for excellent service rendered to the Republic of Kodiak, especially in the pursuance of the ideals of the Republic.
- 8.2 The Foreign Service Medal shall grant the recipient a gift of appreciation amounting to no more than fifty thousand florins.
- 8.3 The Foreign Service Medal shall be granted via Resolution of the General Assembly of Kodiak upon the advice of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
