The Kodiak Chess Federation
The Kodiak Chess Federation (KCF) was formed December 2022 (Kodiak RP Year 649), with the goal of encouraging more citizens and residents to play the classic well known game of Chess. The federation was founded by the Co-Presidents Silmeria (Discord: JCap7#3545) and Asden (Discord: LOGAN#8914).
Founding Principles
The Chess Federation maintains the following founding principles:
- Everybody should be able to enjoy and play the game of Chess if they want. Above all, have fun and enjoy our mutual hobby!
- Those that wish to compete should be able to do so in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment.
- Sportsmanship should be shown by all players at tournaments run by the KCF.
- Those wanting to learn or get better should be able to do so without judgement or bullying.
The KCF fully supports and upholds the Kodiak Community Guidelines and the Code of Conduct.
