The 642 General Election was held on 30 May 2022. Two candidates ran for President in this election: Incumbent President Tobias Virstürm (PPK) and Rudra Jaiswal (Independent). Mr. Jaiswal was disqualified after a police investigation discovered numerous payments from international rightist organisations as well as links to an anti-semitic hate group.
Three candidates declared for the position of Chancellor. [[Alantic States | Oskar Luchens]] of the National Unity Party (NUP), [[Rykkland | Patrick Barber]] of the Kodiak Workers' Party (KWP), and [[Yungley | Yungley Shaon]] of the Chest & Co Sponsored Political Office (CACSPO). Chief Justice [[Martang | Martang Eðeltreow]] lodged his intention to remain early in the campaign season.
