Policies
Trade Unionism
- Expansion of the right to industrial action.
- The 35-hour work week.
- Union-negotiated collective agreements in every workplace
- The right to entitled employment
- National subsidies for employment organisation
- Union representation on corporate boards
- Union-run hiring halls and the end to labour hire companies
- Unrestricted workplace entry for union officials.
- Minimum four weeks annual and sick leave.
- Equal pay assurances for all demographics.
- Mandated pay-rises based on inflation and experience.
- The removal of any DPLK official from any positions within the Kodiak Federation of Industrial Unions.
Industry and Taxes
- Nationalisation of all essential utilities including: Water, Electricity, Natural Gas, Telecommunications, Post, Railways, Airlines, and other Public Transportation.
- Development of a nation-wide fibre-optic telecommunications infrastructure
- Income-based payment for access to quality internet access.
- Significant tax subsidies and deductions for workers cooperatives and non-profit organisations.
- Nationalisation of key resource development, including pharmaceuticals, steel, basic electronic components, and military production industries.
- Increase corporate taxes to 45% of profits.
- Increase in capital gains to match the progressive income tax brackets.
- Creation of an Ultimate Wealth Tax, which requires a 1% assessment of any individual or trust with assets worth 500 million florins or greater.
- Abolish and Nationalise the Private Insurance industry.
Civil Rights
Health
- Fully nationalised healthcare with no point-of-delivery fees.
- Accessible quality medical and dental care for all citizens
- The creation of a mobile general practitioners department to ensure adequate care to all.
- The creation of an international pharmaceuticals commission controlled by public entities.
- The creation of a nationalised pharmaceuticals research and development company.
- A stronger liability system to ensure proper worker health and safety and compensation.
- The creation of a parallel national mental health system.
- The creation of a disabilities management and funding department.
Defence and Military
- Increase military spending to at least 3.5% of GDP
- Support the abolition of nuclear proliferation.
- Maximise dual-use equipment, such as emergency relief helicopters and engineering.
- Demand the withdrawal of all international forces present since the release of Kodiak from international quarantine.
- Ensure at least one soldier-elected enlisted representative in each company command structure.
- Ensure at least one soldier-elected enlisted representative on Ministry of Defence Chiefs board.
Housing
- Rental controls on all private housing as well as a financial stress fund for subsidising rent to the suddenly unemployed.
- Income-based public housing rental rates.
- The purchase or construction of public housing to obtain a public-to-private ratio of 2:1
- Reasonable access to public housing for all individuals earning less than the average fulltime wage.
- Enforced mix-public/private developments in multiple-dwelling complexes.
Education
- The development of a state-owned broadcasting corporation.
- Abolition of tuition fees in trade schools and universities.
