Good day, dear friends! We are members of the Centrist Kodiak Alliance (CKA), and we strive for the best future for everyone.
We understand that each of us has our own opinions and beliefs, but we also know that we must respect each other and seek compromises. That's why we created this manifesto.
== Kodiak First, Centralized Government, Mixed Economy. ==
We centrists believe in pragmatism. Any agreement, any contract, any law should be concluded on the basis of their real long-term benefits, and not be covered up by one or another ideology. Decisions should be made reasonably, with an eye to the evidence and guarantees of the promised results.
The Federalist Party Strives to establish in Kodiak more powers for the Chancellor, placing more checks on the General Assembly and ensuring all Kodiak Citizens values are being upheld by its Representatives. The Federalist Party will hold Centrist Values not being tooo far left nor too far right. What Does this Mean ?
No one will argue that everyone has the right to freedom of choice and to their own opinion. But we also understand that our beliefs may differ from other people. That is why we strive for an inclusive society where everyone can be heard and where everyone can find their place. That is why we are opening the doors of the party and are ready to welcome everyone, all those who, respecting each other's opinions, are ready to separate truth from lies in discussions, populist slogans from real intentions.
=== Social Policies of the Federalist Party ===
Our manifesto is also intended to emphasize the importance of humanism. We believe that everyone deserves respect and care. We want people to live in peace and harmony, where there is no place for violence and discrimination. A person has the right not only to life and property, but also to personal freedom, social justice and an effective state.
* The Federalists Party believes that Students that are in Secondary stage 1 and further should be required to attend life skill classes such as financial literacy, life planning classes, and 1 Technical Skill class. Upon the last Year of a students Education in state and privately funded schools students should be required to take a Life After School Course every day until final graduation. This Course will focus on fine tuning the plans of graduating students to ensure a more successful individual and Citizen. Education is important and requires fluidity and the ability to adapt to the current needs of population at any time.
* The Federalists Party strives to work on the Kodiak Social Security laws. Eliminating the welfare system is the first step. The Work-For-Welfare is just a Watered down version of unemployment and can put the government at risk. instead of providing Citizens with Welfare checks we will Create a Ministry of Business. This ministry will allow for small and big business to register with the ministry. This will also allow for citizens actively looking for work to receive job opportunities from these registered businesses where the ministry will then place them for a prescribed time. The companies will then be able to decide if the individual has satisfied them and whether or not they will be hired on full time. We must create work opportunities not cater the lazy.
* We here in the Federalists Party believe that as a human in todays world time is so precious it must be spent and used wisely. Yes we all must work but we shouldn't spend most of our life just working it away. This is why we will propose shortening the work week to 30-35 hours a week and increasing over time by another 25% and keeping it this way. The Federalist Party will get rid of the Age of retirement and require that a citizen have at least 35 years of provable working years in order to qualify for retirement. This will start from the day a citizen gets a job as a legal working citizen of Kodiak.
Finally, we believe: it is possible to create a platform for an impartial exchange of opinions. We realize that everyone already has serious theoretical baggage behind them, but we also know that very often we have to look for compromises and find a common language. That is why we are creating this platform for communication and exchange of opinions between all people.
* To lessen funding over our Housing department and free up some money for other necessities in Kodiak. The Federalist Party will propose opening up the Housing development to allow for People to register under the Ministry of Business to be able to build housing under the guidelines of the Public Housing Act to those who qualify. This will allow the Government to focus on making sure these landlords are properly maintaining these residencies instead of managing it themselves . This will not only free up funding from this Sector of Government but allow for citizens to become business owners and assist the Government in this much needed sector.
So, friends, let's create a better future for everyone together! Let's respect each other, seek compromises and create a better world! Let's live in peace and harmony, where everyone can find their place and be heard.
=== Economic Policies of the Federalist Party ===

* The Federalist Party will work to establish a unique Centrally Planned Economy in Kodiak Republic. This Economy will be based from the Previously mentioned Ministry of Business. Under this Proposal we will see the necessary change of a few things which will put Kodiak in a financial position where the need to take the hard earned florins of the people will become less and less.
* Under the Ministry of Business. Those Aspiring to own businesses must first register with the ministry where they will submit their business application this application will require a series of questions that must be answered one of which that will request proof of initial funding. Once approved the applicant will be required to attend a 5 day course informing them of National employment laws and other necessary laws. On the final day the Applicant must then take and pass a final Exam of all the information learned. After passing the Exam the applicant will then move on to the next phase which would be Land and Permit Acquisitions, in this phase The Applicant will be given a choice. 1. The ministry can set them up with land and be required to promise a higher percentage of revenue or they can Purchase their desired land from the Government and only be required to pay revenue Permit promise. This is just a small example of the proposed FED economy.
* Under The Ministry of Business prices for services would be regulated by the Ministry with the Chancellor as its Chairman along with three other Elected board members. The Ministry of Business would also be responsible for establishing a central bank to handle loans and other financial services for the Nation. The Ministry would also have the Power to allow for the creation of other banks under very strict rules.
* Under this economy the Federalist Party would seek to end the need for high income tax by allowing for the Government to generate its own income. The Ministry could also create businesses and sell them for profit. The End goal is to completely Eliminate the need for income tax.

=== Prison System Policies of the Federalist Party ===
An independent member of the Assembly is one whose will is based not on the desire of a particular person, but on his own arguments and facts. It is the participants who are independent of anyone who make the most balanced and rational decisions. The goal of CKA is to unite all honest and impartial legislators. For this purpose and to preserve the real independence of the participants in the party, coercion is not used. The only requirement for joining the party is the willingness to conduct a discussion, objectivity and general politeness. But there is an opportunity to discuss - and give lectures (if you can).
===Party Secretary===
* The Federalist Party looks to establish a prison reform like no other. In this reform we will place the Prison sector as a sub branch of the Ministry of Business. Why is this ? We want to rehabilitate our criminals in an organized and stimulating environment to once again make them productive citizens of Kodiak. How can this be done? Inmates who are in prison for non violent crimes will be eligible to enter the Prisoner Employment Program after serving 1 year in prison on good behavior. This program will allow for these prisoners to go work for consenting registered businesses for 8 hours out of the day. The wages the Prisoner would get if they were free would be halved and payed to the Ministry. Through this program a Prisoner could receive a sentence reduction or be released of Work Parole where as long as the Prisoner maintains good behavior and the job for the duration of the Parole time afterwards they would go free with a sealed record.
To protect the independence of the participants, a Party Secretary is elected once a month. Its tasks include fulfilling the ideals of the party, ensuring the order of discussion and representing the common interests of members in the Assembly with their consent.
