@Assembly Member Debate for this bill is now open Felix Hurst [NUP] — 06/15/2024 7:42 AM I believe this is a very important bill to remember and reflect upon the sacrifices and the immense loss that we have suffered in times of conflict.

Though I would suggest having a Veterans Day instead of National Victory Day. That could be combined with Civil War Remembrance Day. We have many veterans of the War with The Great North and even those who served in peacetime, who also deserve to be remembered. (( also, I want the free beer clause!!!)) Antonio Recio Rufián [SHRIMP] — 06/15/2024 7:51 AM ((rn idek who is in charge of the bill in the NUP so if you wanna be in charge of it then sure)) Felix Hurst [NUP] — 06/15/2024 7:52 AM ((yeah I guess I'll take it over)) Antonio Recio Rufián [SHRIMP] — 06/15/2024 7:54 AM ((go crazy with it then)) J.F. Sassoon — 06/15/2024 8:03 AM This has my full support Alexander Paramount (NUP) OP

No other words needed, I support this bill as well Felix Hurst [NUP] — 06/15/2024 8:27 AM I would like to ask members for their input on a date for National Veterans Day. I am opposed to using the end of one conflict i.e. September 12 or April 7, but there are very few other reasonable dates. Joseph Fala (KSDP) — 06/15/2024 8:36 AM No Objections Please set the day to April 7th every year Joanna Sousa KWP (Juliette) — 06/15/2024 8:50 AM I think this is a fair point. Regarding dates I don't believe there will ever be a perfect date, but that said the purpose of the day is most important.

If it matters, Kodiak's birthday is in April, and Founder's day is in July. So if we did want to spread out the public holidays there is that. That said, celebrating Kodiak's veterans in the same month as Kodiak's birthday isn't a bad thing.

In any case, I give my support for this bill. Jakob Karlsson - New Asden — 06/17/2024 9:03 PM Full support 🫡 :tkr: Alexander Paramount (NUP) OP
