Ward was re-elected as Chancellor by the General Assembly on 18 January 660, the first Chancellor to be re-elected in the Seventh Republic. His cabinet, consisting entirely of NUP members, was formally approved by the Kodiak General Assembly three days later. Opposition leader [[User:Lies_Kryos|Braughn Kryos]] served as [[List of presidents of the Kodiak General Assembly|President]] of the General Assembly and was not a member of the cabinet.
