Restructuring and Rebasing Act, 668

An act focused on the structure, internal security and standardized pay for the Kodiak Armed Forces.

Article I - Restructuring and Rebasing

1.1 - 7th Division to Organized Reserves (OR)

  • 1.1.1 - Reduction of 17,000 Active Duty members.
  • 1.1.2 - Transfer of the 7th Division Mechanized to Army Reserve Command (JB Rykkburgh)

1.2 - 10th Division to OR

  • 1.2.1 - Reduction of 17,000 Active Duty members.
  • 1.2.2 - Transfer of the 10th Division Mechanized to Army Reserve Command (JB Rykkburgh)

Article II - Internal Security / Militia

2.1 - Creation of Standby Defense Force Command

  • 2.1.1 - Operated under the command of Army Forces Command (JB Rykkburgh).

2.2 - Creation of Provincial Military Forces

  • 2.2.1 - Each province to create and maintain a reserved Standby Defense Force.
  • 2.2.2 - Jointly managed during peacetime by provincial governors and Standby Defense Force Command.
  • 2.2.3 - Forces can be federated into the national army under Army Forces Command into field units.

2.3 - Funding at the provincial level.

  • 2.3.1 - Except for annual training, which will be funded through national defense funds.
