Post-War Reconstruction Act, 667

An act focusing on rebuilding destroyed historic structures, buildings and roadways in regions affected by war. Additionally, creates temporary emergency shelters for displaced citizens and food banks for those affected by war.

Article I - Rebuilding

1.1 - Government will pull funds from the defense funds towards rebuilding structures destroyed or deemed uninhabitable due to war.

1.2 - Rebuilding of bridges and roadways will take initial priority in order to move supplies and resources to cities or towns.

1.3 - Rebuilding of historic structures will use exact materials in order to recreate the building as authentically as possible.

1.4 - Ad hoc creation of a Rebuilding Department.

  • 1.4.1 - Will be under the direction of the Ministry of Defense.
  • 1.4.2 - Will manage rebuilding, emergency shelters and food banks around war affected regions.

Article II - Emergency Shelters

2.1 - Emergency housing will be provided from land expropriated by the government.

  • 2.1.1 - Land to be returned to ownership after shelters have been removed.

2.2 - Basic needs will be met to keep conditions appropriate for habitation.

  • 2.2.1 - Medical facilities, food, and water will be at each location.
  • 2.2.2 - Housing will be created with the intent to develop privacy and safety.

2.3 - No shelters can be permanent structures and must be removed once displaced individuals can move back to previous dwellings.

Article III - Food Banks

3.1 - Funding for food banks will be allocated for regions affected by war.

3.2 - While not necessarily permanent, food banks will be established in cities and large population centers located near war-affected regions.
