An act to establish a national military cemetery to honour the fallen soldiers of the Republic.
Definitions
Kodiak Armed Forces - Kodiak Army, Kodiak Navy, Kodiak Air Force, Kodiak Coast Guard, Kodiak National Front
Member of the Armed Forces - An individual who has served in the Kodiak Armed Forces, either in combat or in the reserves, as a soldier, sailor or pilot or support roles such as engineers or medics.
Article 1
- 1.1 Empowers the National Cemetery Administration
Article 2 – The National Cemetery
- 2.1 - Authorises the marking of five hundred thousand grave sites, over 20 acres of land.
- 2.2 - Sets a 'grave' as a 1800mm deep, 750mm across and 2500mm in length.
- 2.3 - Sets a headstone with the following conditions:
- 2.3.1 - Sets a headstone at 600mm in height by 300mm in length and 100mm in width
- 2.3.2 - Sets headstone to be made out of white granite
- 2.3.3 - Sets headstone engraving in the following way: first name and middle initial or name, surname, date of birth (following DD/MMM/YYY), date of death (following DD/MMM/YYY), final achieved rank, branch of service, any gallantry decorations received
- 2.4 - Authorises the following monuments to be constructed, pending a national design competition.

Article 3 - Internment in the National Cemetery
- 3.1 - Eligibility for Internment
- 3.1.1 - Current serving members of the Kodiak Armed Forces
- 3.1.2 - Former members of the Kodiak Armed Forces
- 3.2 - Prohibition from Internment
- 3.2.1 - Those who have committed felonies as listed in the The Kodiak Felony Act, 637
- 3.2.2 - Those who have been found to have committed crimes in war against international conventions.
- 3.2.3 - If an individual interned in the National Cemetery is later found to have committed any combination of the above, the National Cemetery Administration reserves the power to exhume the corpse and rebury in a cemetery of the deceased family's choosing.
- 3.2.4 - If no family of the deceased come forward to collect them, the National Cemetery Administration reserves the power to cremate the body.
- 3.2.3 - If an individual interned in the National Cemetery is later found to have committed any combination of the above, the National Cemetery Administration reserves the power to exhume the corpse and rebury in a cemetery of the deceased family's choosing.
- 3.3 - Priority for Internment shall be in the following order:
- 3.3.1 - Members of the Armed Forces who were been awarded an order of gallantry whilst in service.
- 3.3.2 - Members of the Armed Forces who were been killed in combat.
- 3.3.3 - Members of the Armed Forces who were honourably discharged.
- 3.3.4 - Members of the Armed Forces who were dishonourably discharged.
Article 4 - Funding
- 4.1 - Authorizes the purchase of 250 acres of land in [PLACE] for [AMOUNT].
- 4.2 - Authorizes a budget of 17 million florins per annum for the basic maintenance, wage paying, new headstones and gravesites among other duties of the national memorial.
- 4.3 - Authorizes the National Cemetery Administration to collect donations.
- 4.4 - Authorizes 2 million florins for the construction of each monument.
