ARTICLE 1.
1.1 In the event of the death resignation or incapacitation of the chancellor this act applies to set how a new chancellor would be chosen
1.1 in the event of a vacancy in the chancellor's office this act declares a direct line of succession to the Chancellors office in the case of resignation, death or possible incapacitation under which the chancellors not able to preform the dutys of their office.
 
1.2 in the event of the chancellors death resignation or incapacitation the deputy chancellor will assume the office of the chancellor of the kodiak republic
1.2 succession will go as follows upon resignation or death or possible incapacitation the line of succession to the chancellor's office will be as follows Deputy chancellor, president of the assembly (in the event of assembly president being appointed to. The chancellor's office a election will be called to determine a new president witch would not offset the normal president election), minister of law and order, minister of defense and immigration, minister of commerce and labor, minister of revenue and treasury, minister of social services, minister of health and education and minister of transportation
ARTICLE 2
2.1 in the event the deputy chancellor is unable to assume the office of chancellor the cabinet will come together to elect a new chancellor before the election
ARTICLE 2.
 
2.2 this vote shall be over seen by the president of the assembly
2.1 the person who was to become chancellor threw line of succession will last in till the next election where they can choose to run for another term.
ARTICLE 3
3.1 if the new chancellor was elected one year before the end of the term they
will be able to run for a full term and a second but if they were elected before that date they are able to run only for one more term
