Healthcare Education Relief Act, (666)

An act to relieve the strain of student debt on Kodiak healthcare workers.
Article One - The Student Debt Forgiveness Commission
- 1.1 - Establishes the Student Debt Forgiveness Commission under the Ministry of Health and Education.
- 1.2 - The Commission is instructed to provide student debt forgiveness to as many eligible graduates as possible.
- 1.3 - The Commission is to be made up of officers of the Kodiak Department of Health.
- 1.4 - Members of the Commission shall receive no more than a 25 thousand Florin bonus for their work on the Commission.
Article Two - Eligibility
- 2.1 - A person is consider eligible for student debt relief if they:
- 2.1.1 - Are enrolled or have graduated from a medical school.
- 2.1.2 - Have graduated or are set to graduate between January 1st 650 and January 1st 670.
- 2.1.3 - Have academic debt from their pursuit of a medical degree.
Article Three - Funding
- 3.1 - The commission is granted 1.5 million Florins annually for the purposes of staff bonuses.
- 3.2 - The commission is granted 30 billion Florins annually for a period of 3 years.
- 3.3 - In the event that there are no eligible citizens, the funding provided in 3.2 will be held by the commission for future use.
- 3.4 - Funding from 3.1 shall continue as long as funding from 3.2 is still available.
