It was installed following the [[657 Kodiak General Election]] and succeeded the [[Second Corey Cabinet]]. Ward was elected as Chancellor by the General Assembly on 18 January 657. His cabinet, as determined by the coalition agreement, was formally approved by the Kodiak General Assembly four days later.
