In 636 Tobias was elected to the General Assembly. Tobias was appointed the Minister of Healthcare and Education under Alexander Mondo in which he passed key legislation focusing on the educational standards of Kodiak. In 639, Tobias formed the PPK, which was funded in majority by his family, in order to support an independent campaign for President of the General Assembly in the [[639 General Election - 07 Mar 2022|639 General Election]]. Tobias would win against his opponent and would run for a consecutive term winning again in the [[642 General Election - 30 May 2022|642 General Election]].
