Line 76: == Creation == The city of Vikstein was created during the integration of the Bromannikha Kingdom. It was home to ~~Vaduz~~Vikstein Castle, which is located at upon the hillside overlooking the water and grassy fields. Formed as a defensible location north of Rosalice to prevent northern incursions and to protect the routes into the city. Sassoon]] The local government of Vikstein is a unique one, but only by naming convention. It is ruled by an elected council of nobles, who are actually just normal citizens, that run the city. They elect a Council Duke, effectively a mayor, to oversee the city. It is said that the council harkens back to the feudal founding of the city to great [[Dukes of Vikstein]] who would rule at the castle.
