This resolution adjusts the Ministry of Commerce and Labour budget to alleviate burden on the ongoing debt crisis that the Most Serene Republic of Kodiak is facing as of 657. The aim of this resolution is to spread the burden of reductions across different departments and initiatives in order to shield important economy boosting policies from severe reductions to funding.

Preamble

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE MOST SERENE REPUBLIC OF KODIAK

RECOGNISING that the Kodiak Economy faces an unprecedented debt crisis and requires a redeployment of existing funds across Ministry portfolios.

RESOLVES to reduce current expenditures in the Commerce and Labour portfolio while shielding economy-building policies from major reversals of policy and funds.

ACCEPTS that budget reductions across all ministry portfolios are a necessity to reverse economic downfall and avert a financial disaster.

BELIEVING that the economy can and shall recover and in a more fiscally sound time we shall once again have the capacity to invest in the people of The Kodiak Republic.

Article 1 - Competition Law
