Amendment One: Impeachment
An Amendment to outline impeachment.
- 1.1 - All elected officials of the Serene Republic may be impeached.
- 1.2 - Officials may only be impeached for corruption, sedition, fraud, crimes against a person, or crimes against humanity.
- 1.3 - Motions for impeachment require the support of a minimum of four members.
- 1.4 - While an impeachment motion is being heard, the official in question is suspended from their duties.
- 1.5 - A motion of impeachment requires a two-thirds vote in the Assembly to pass.
- 1.6 - A convicted official is to be removed from office and barred from holding a position in The Serene Republic's government.
