Preamble
The Kodiak Republic and the Augustin Alliance, recognizing the importance of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to prosperity and security, hereby enter into this Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation. The undersigned representatives of both parties, duly authorized, agree to the following terms to promote unity, collaboration, and the strengthening of our bond.
Article I: Mutual Recognition
- 1.1 The sole legitimate authority in the Augustin Alliance is recognized to be the Allied Commander, her Central Strategic Committee, and the governments of the various Alliance core regions, including Anteria, Cape of Good Hope, Conch Kingdom, Dawn, Lands End, Narnia, and Ridgefield. The Alliance is recognized as the owner of its territories in August, Augustin Alliance, Conch Island, Conch Kingdom RP, Dreams of Good Hope, Marionette, and TNP as its legitimate holdings.
- 1.2 The sole legitimate authority in The Kodiak Republic is recognized as the government under the current legal code.
Article II: Guarantee of Mutual Defense
- 2.1 - In recognition of the importance of mutual security, the Kodiak Republic and the Augustin Alliance agree to provide assistance to one another in the event of an armed attack against either of the parties.
- 2.2 - Both parties shall take immediate and necessary measures to defend each other, including but not limited to military, economic, and logistical support, as dictated by the situation at hand.
- 2.3 - This guarantee applies to any external threats or conflicts that may affect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of either the Kodiak Republic or the Augustin Alliance.
Article III: Expansion of Cultural Collaboration
- 3.1 - Both parties agree to deepen and expand cultural exchanges, with the goal of fostering greater understanding, mutual respect, and friendship between the peoples of the Kodiak Republic and the Augustin Alliance.
- 3.2 - Efforts will be made to support programs, including but not limited to educational exchanges, and joint artistic and cultural festivals
- 3.2.1 - Kodiak and the Augustin Alliance shall participate in joint events such as and not limited to: artistic competitions, movie nights, and History nights, ETC.
- 3.3 - This cooperation will focus on promoting shared values such as peace, sustainable development, environmental stewardship, human rights and national sovereignty.
Article IV: Support for our WA Proposals
- 4.1 - The Kodiak Republic and the Augustin Alliance commit to extending their support to one another in the pursuit of proposals within the World Assembly (WA).
- 4.2 - Both parties shall consult regularly on WA matters and will work together to ensure that proposals put forward by either party receive strong or coordinated backing in the international community.
- 4.3 - If supporting a resolution recommended by a signatory would violate another treaty, a signatory may instruct its delegate(s) to abstain from voting.
Article V: Non-Interference Agreement
- 5.1 - The Kodiak Republic and the Augustin Alliance pledge to respect each other’s sovereignty and domestic affairs, and agree not to intervene, interfere, or otherwise influence each other’s internal governance, political processes, or social structures.
- 5.2 - Both parties recognize the right of each to determine their own policies and internal affairs without external pressure or coercion.
- 5.3 - Any concerns arising between the two parties will be addressed through diplomatic means, and both sides commit to resolving disputes peacefully and amicably.
- 5.4 - Both parties will not intervene in any domestic wars such as civil wars or political coups unless asked to do so by the current government of the defending party.
Article VI: Final Provisions
- 6.1 - This treaty is entered into voluntarily by both the Kodiak Republic and the Augustin Alliance and is intended to last indefinitely, subject to the mutual consent of both parties.
- 6.2 - Either party may request a review of the treaty or propose amendments, with such changes being made only upon mutual agreement.
- 6.3 - This treaty will come into effect immediately upon the signature of both parties and will be ratified by the governing bodies of each nation as soon as is practicable.
- 6.4 - In the event of any dispute concerning the interpretation or application of this treaty, both parties shall seek to resolve the matter through peaceful dialogue and negotiation with 2 officials from each government coming together to discuss and deliver a resolution.

In witness whereof, the undersigned representatives, duly authorized by their respective governments, have signed this treaty.
