The Primary difference with this, and the current existing Nuclear Power Act, is the allowment of the construction of Nuclear Reactors in Kodiak.
My reasoning for this is that, Nuclear reactors, which nuclear is a renewable energy, will also allow the phasing out of carbon producing energies while cleaner renewables are phased in.

A number of questions:
1. - Whilst I understand that this is simply a bill to remove the prohibition on nuclear power and not a proposal to build plants, what are the estimated costs of building a plant vs what we already have in place for power generation?
2. - Are there any plans to build a plant?
3. - How much will it cost to build the plant?
Reifyrm Visdvk [I] — 15/10/2022
1. At current time, I am unable to answer that with a definitive answer, but I estimate that if we did build a new a plant, we could potentially decommission at least one non-nuclear plant, helping reduce our emissions.
2. At current time, not that I am aware.
3. At current time I am unable to provide an answer. We would have to delve into how much acquiring the materials, the fuel, and prepping a location would cost to find any sort of useful measure.

I would like to ask, do we want to build a larger nuclear policy, or do we want to vote on this bill?
Reifyrm Visdvk [I] — 07/11/2022
I say we vote.
