Section 1 - Technology and Innovation Grants
Robotics and AI Technology
- 1.1 - Establishes the Robotics and AI Technology Research Program under the Kodiak Innovation and Scientific Research Agency (KISRA)[1].
- 1.1 - The Program will take on research projects from the agency regarding Robotics and AI technology.
- 1.2 - The research will focus on Education, Healthcare, and Automotive Manufacturing Automation for the years of 674 to 682[2].
- 1.2.1 - Education Research will focus on AI Automated grading systems and AI tutoring systems with goals to have improvements in Teacher Efficiency, Student assessment and Personalized learning.
- 1.2.2 - Healthcare research will focus on AI integration for Medical diagnosis, patient monitoring, and drug discovery with the goal to show improvements on Hospital efficiency and allow medical associates to have better assistance with AI help.
- 1.3 - Both research projects will be headed by medical and education experts from around Kodiak and foreign partners who are contracted to the program[1].
Automation research in the Automotive Industry
- 1.4 - Automation research in the Automotive Industry will focus on Manufacturing including Decarbonization, Efficient green production, Resource efficiency, and Circularity all with the goal of improving efficiency and how much carbon is in the manufacturing of our vehicles[1].
- 1.4.1 - The Research project shall be headed by industry heads in Automotive from around Kodiak and foreign partners contracted to the program.
- 1.4.2 - Automotive manufacturing companies are allowed to buy into the program to implement newly researched programs to be used in their lines.
Section 2 - Green Energy Research and Development Grants
- 2.1 - Grants are provided to local universities and research institutions to develop new renewable energy solutions tailored for the region[3].
- 2.2 - Research under these grants shall prioritize projects that address energy efficiency, innovative storage solutions for renewable energy, and sustainable practices in energy consumption[3].
- 2.3 - Green Energy Research and Development grants may be supplemented by private donations[3].
