BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE MOST SERENE REPUBLIC OF KODIAK:

AWARE that a drive for profit can result in detrimental service;

WANTING to ensure that Kodiak Railways, a state-owned company, provides the best service to the public with no other priorities;

HEREBY SHALL;

AMEND the Kodiak State Railway Act as below.

1.2 - The purpose of the Company is to provide affordable and efficient shipping services to the businesses of Kodiak, to provide affordable and efficient transportation to the citizens of Kodiak, to promote economic development throughout the republic, and to operate as a profitable enterprise.
