Cyber Security

Section 1: Formation
- 1.1 - there exist a Department of Cyber Security (DoCS) within the Ministry of Defense
- 1.2 - the DoCS is headed by a council of four senior government service members
- 1.2.1 - their term duration is four years
- 1.2.2 - the council is appointed by the Minister of Defense
- 1.3 - The DoCS is responsible for the administration of Cyber Security, improvements to infrastructure, and assistance to federal agencies regarding cyber-crime or defenses
- 1.4 - develops training programs to enhance cybersecurity skills and knowledge among the national workforces
- 1.5 - collaborates with educational institutions to develop cybersecurity curricula and encourage pathways for students into cybersecurity careers.
- 1.6 - provides regulations and resources to state and local governments and/or private sector organizations during cyber emergencies
- 1.7 - monitor compliance with established cybersecurity standards and enforce regulations as necessary
Section 2: Cybersecurity Strategy Development
- 2.1 - The Department develops and implements a comprehensive national cybersecurity strategy to address emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents, as well as;
- 2.2 - an assessment of current cybersecurity posture across federal, state, and local governments
- 2.3 - identification of critical infrastructure sectors and key resources that require enhanced protection
- 2.4 - development of best practices and guidelines for cybersecurity protocols
Section 3: Threat Intelligence and Information Sharing
- 3.1 - a centralized Cyber Threat Intelligence Center exist to collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence.
- 3.2 - DoCS is authorized to regulate information sharing between government agencies, private sector entities, and international partners to enhance collective cybersecurity efforts.
Section 4: National Cyber Incident Response Team (NCIRT)
- 4.1 - The NCIRT exist within the DoCS
- 4.2 - is authorized to assist in the containment, mitigation, and recovery from cyber incidents.
