Biodiversity and Green Infrastructure Act, 675

Article 1: Improving natural sources of biodiversity

1.1 The Department of the Environment shall be tasked with finding forests which are either underdeveloped, hurt by natural disasters or any other circumstances.

1.2 After finding those suitable and forest which could be improved they shall be:

1.2.1 Re-forested which would be done by a group of volunteers and educated specialist.

1.2.2 Improved of it's biodiversity by improving it's soil and nutrients.

1.2.3 Restored of it's flora and fauna.

1.3 The Department of the Environment shall be tasked with finding suitable floodplains for development and restore them.

1.3.1 Greater priority in projects shall take those closer to inhabited places and areas.

1.3.2 The floodplains shall be used as an ecologically sound way of preventing floods.

1.4 The Department of the Environment shall be tasked with finding suitable wetlands for development and restore them.

1.4.1 Greater priority in projects shall take those closer to inhabited places and areas.

1.4.2 Developed wetlands shall be used as an alternative to some water treatments and they shall be suitable to provide shelter for migrating birds.

Article 2: Regulation

2.1 Before any projects are started the Department of the Environment shall provide environmental impact studies.

2.2 Lands to be developed shall retain their original purpose and develop shall not significantly hurt it's biodiversity and wildlife.

2.3 Every half year developed lands shall be inspected for any disease, problems or anything which can compromise the infrastructure.

2.4 Said lands shall not provide land for housing.

Article 3: Funding

3.1 50 million florins quaterly shall be granted for restoration of forests, floodplains and wetlands.
